The paper presents the results of a research that aims to identify emotional and social skills manifested in first-year students with technical profile its positive effects on their adaptation academic life. An important developmental task young is increased participation at formal informal peer groups, along interest gain independence assertion own beliefs context professional development. Students who develop have more chances be accepted better integrated into groups experiencing well-being psychological functioning relationships. We used multidimensional instrument which allows assessment wide range competencies may possess various levels. Using Profile Social Emotional Competences, (Tufeanu & Robu, 2013) we tested impact regulation over association between responsibility relationships engagement. allow us training personal development needs as well support effective reduce dropout.
